NRA Basic Pistol
Why
Take This Course?
Even if you have never held a handgun, you will be able to
safely handle, shoot, clean, and store a semi-automatic pistol and revolver
after you complete this course. If you are already familiar with handguns,
the shooting skills section of this course can help you become a more
accurate, faster handgun marksman.
This course is low-pressure, low-stress, and allows you to ask questions
as the course progresses. You will not be asked to do anything that
you are uncomfortable doing.

You do not need to own a handgun to take this course. In fact, this
class teaches you how to choose your first handgun! Both semi-automatic
and revolver-type handguns are available to borrow. If you already own
a handgun, you are welcome to use it during the range session.
Please Note: Absolutely NO
live ammunition is allowed in the classroom at any time.
